Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act

Psalms 37:5

A week ago a friend bought me a guitar. To me this was a big miracle, an assurance that God not only listen but also give us whatever we trust him for.

3 years ago I developed passion for guitar after learning some few basics. I wanted to grow my skills but I was on and off in practice, I didn’t have my own guitar. I became a constant bother to friends who gave theirs for practice. I couldn’t convince my parents to buy me one; they considered other things more important than my nagging desire to possess a musical instrument. Being as ambitious as i could be i tried some few projects hoping that i will raise some money to buy one but in vain. One disappointment after another left me frustrated, then i remembered.. ‘All to Jesus I surrender, all to him I FREELY give’ But my expectation was that of a micro wave society.. Blessings Pap!!! “Ask and you will receive now!” Instantly! …. But God new better, he had to develop some few qualities to sustain my gifting. Though it took sometime, he was faithful enough to accomplish his promises. I have much joy and contentment now because,He not only blessed me with a guitar but developed a virtue of trust and patience.

So I encourage you to keep on trusting God. Maybe your need is much bigger or smaller than mine, but at the end of the day, they all matter to God because they matter to you. Believe he will provide no matter how…
